I played dod for about a year and then took a break for another year right before dods came out so i never had the chance to play source. I wanted to start playing again about 3 months ago and i think dod got erased so i dled dods source and didnt really notice much of a difference cause i couldnt remember original dod that well, just realized they changed the weapons around a bit and the graphics looked a bit better, but i just wanted a video on youtube with the original dod and i couldnt belive how crappy it looks compared to the new dods haha. For all you new comers to dod that never played the original look up a video or screenshots of the original just so you know how good we all got it now.

I love old dod, the best thing about it was that everyone moved around as if they were swimming up river

i always go to youtube to look up DOD clips. I actually, before eGO, went on to find cheap map exploits. I saw old clips from original DOD and it looks horrible. AVA looks ugly. But there were several versions though right? i mean.. i saw one with british, i heard about a 'grease gun' that owns... i saw one 3 min clip of this guy who's screen put like.. this yellow triangle wherever any enemy was, so when they were behind walls he could still see them, and when they exposed themselves, whether it be a limb or their head.. BOOM! ..but on steam u can (for $99.99) get all the DOD's, im not sure how many that includes.. but u guys said u still play DOD..? so... the old DOD servers are still up with players playing? ...a lot.. or .. just a few..?

I used to play the original dod all the time, even when dods came out i played dod way more because i though dods sucked, I didnt like how they changed the kar and such since i used to be pro kar in dod, but now i think dods is better and when i go back to play dod i suck at it because im so used to playing dods

I recently played DoD classic, and noticed that there are a lot of differences. For one, you can't punch. Then on Avalanche there are a lot of nooks and crannies that are walls in classic DoD. I still like playing classic DoD, but I never play on any of the maps that I can get in source, because it annoys me when I notice something different from the source version, which I've grown used to.
