Has anyone checked out Crime Craft. It looks pretty interesting. If anyone else plans on getting it, let me know maybe we can start up a gang together.

thats exactly right. its an MMO. it is basically like grand theft auto but MASS MULTI-PLAYER ONLINE. its going to be sweeet

Sorry to rain in on the parade. I played the beta of this game, and it is so severely grind-crazy it's ... insane.

Took me SO LONG to get a good gun, the main "story" is missing somewhere, quests are few and far between, and cash is slow to get and hard to obtain. It was OK, not content-heavy, but left me with a bad taste in my mouth...

I have also played the beta. I say it's decent but for me not worth buying. Just like Dormedas said, the game is grind heavy. The game is gang based (clans are called gangs), there are gang battles, territory capturing and ect. If you like this type of game go ahead and buy it, but I recommend you check out the open beta before you buy it.

I was there since january 09 not long after it was first announced. I was in the closed beta, it's crap TBH. Great idea, i was ranked 41 in the CC official forums in points and all for nothing. The game is SO unpolished it's ridiculous. It was very buggy, very confusing HUD/UI, the tutorial didn't explain anything well, and it took forever walking anywhere in just this tiny city you start in. The combat is weak, third person shooting with nothing special added on. I didn't even try the crafting or gang features of the gang because i was so depressed that all my wasted effort into creating a clan way back when CC was first announced, waiting for the beta, playing it the day i got my key...then IT SUCKED!!! Nope, i will not be joining you in CC, and i suggest you don't waste your time or money on it either...

I think that Crime Craft is a good idea. A different themed MMO for people who normally don't play them because of the themes. I think that its refreshing to have something different in the MMO universe. Sure its buggy but give it some time and maybe problems will be fixed. For example, when WoW was first released, bugs where everywhere (I remember raging about it in school lol) After a while of complaints, it was fixed quickly enough. So all I'm saying is to give Crime Craft a shot and not put it down as a crappy MMO because someone out there likes it lol.

It's not like that much anymore. I'm level 18 and I've killed level 40+ lots of times. And it's not really free to play. It's a never ending trial. You get the game, but you have a lot of locked content. Have a subscription also nets you 6x and 10x exp.

I like it. But I'm getting into EVE........
