I can't run any games maxed out inless its pretty old, but then again maxed is Very high, full AA, phsyx on high etc etc.

A friend of mine has a 9600gso and he runs tf2 at more than playable framerates, but not 300.

true, but no one knows what the "fps" of the human eye is.
most people say you won't notice a difference of anything about 30 FPS, but if i go below 50 FPS i can notice it glitchy/slowdown...how bout you guys

I got a nvidia mobo though so...
the jump from 90 FPS to 60 FPS can be noticed and It depends on your monitor.
