idler trouble watch out

First I think valve is trolling.

Second, I have an aversion to seeding as I feel it is almost as bad as fake clients. If they do stop the usage of the idle program I will just be using the create server command and sit in a private server by myself.

Drunkenfool made an update to his idle program:

The update will look for supposed "detector" items and delete them if they are added to your inventory. No way of knowing if this is how the detection system works, but it won't hurt anything.

As I understand it, the info was taken from a conversation between Valve dev's, and will be posted on their blog within a couple days.

But yeah, no more using the idle program to get stuff.

Definitely fake pics, I don't use the idler but I'm not against it because the hat drop rates are unreasonable enough to begin with.

Look at it this way, why stop idling, if it turns out to be fake you may have gained something, if it is real and valve is going to take actions well then we didn't really lose anything. Im still idling.

Actually, on the classless update day three, they spelt "seriously" wrong, and they had to do an update to fix it. It was spelt "serioulsy"

It may just be me but i have yet to see anyone receive, in game aka not idling, items as of the Aug 31st update. So there is a possibility that they are tracking idlers.

They won't go banning accounts at first. Like with the achievement program: we just lose items/weapons . In a nut shell that unlocker program =aprox= idle bot

It would surprise me if Steam was tracking idling accounts. That totally sucks, but it is what it is.
