lol, i just want to know the rest of the specs, because if they are still going to use a 256-bit memory interface, I'm just gonna get a 260 BE.

Well thanks for the suggestions guys but I'm just going to do what Junk said and get a whole new Computer.
And the only reason I said in the 50-100 price range is because I was planning on getting a new computer for a while but just havent been able to save up enough because of bills/gas/family, so I figured I would just try and update my graphics card to hold me over.

they speculate 256-bit because that is what they have been doing for the high end stuff, but i saw something about a 384-bit and Im hopeful for that

you can try to lower the DX level, like say go to properties and type in -dxlevel 81, cus 81 runs perfectly with a bit of lag but very playable, if you're looking for a good graphic card under 100, I suggest going to tiger direct, and look at the 9 series, 9800 gtx are quite expensive like about 120.... and up, 9600 GT should be around 80~90 dollars, I haven't checked recently, usually with Cs:S, i have a 6150 SE 400 something nforce motherboard video card, running on Dx Level 8.1, and settings either on low i get 70~80 fps, high i get 40~60 fps. with out AA GL

Tigerdirect kinda sucks compared to newegg. Newegg is the best place to shop for computer parts. Occasionally there are cheaper sources like Amazon and stuff but thats rarely and not for graphics cards or anything. Newegg is the king for computer components.

Fps is mainly in the Graphic card you are using, Any graphic cards that process over 3X is good for cs:s on over 40 fps on the highest settings. Ram does not contribute to the increase of fps i repeat it does not contribute to the increase of fps.
