How to decide who gets warden

Lets get some things straight

• Who gives orders first is NOT warden.
• Who asks for warden first is NOT warden.
• It is definatly NOT decided by who can tell everyone to "shut up, cuz im warden" the loudest.

It isnt about who's the fastest to yell one thing or another into the mic.

But if its not who's first to give orders, and its not who asks first, how are we gonna pick out who's warden?

I'll tell you how we decide warden.
We do it, in a calm, mature, collected, and fair manner.
When the round begins, if theres a big flurry of people racing for warden, then stop, take control of the situation and work it out.

-First, nix the people who have previously wardened on the map.
Then figure out a line system ex. Jim goes this round, steve next, bob third...etc

Its simple, and it works.
Start putting it into practice and we can make our jail server that much better.

Sidenote:If you have the opposite scenario where noone wants to be warden someone can just give orders/you can just ask to be warden.

Remeber this is eGO, EdgeGamers Organization, a mature gaming community.

Nice, I have seen this a lot on jail. People screaming into the mic just cause they want to be warden and give a freeday or st to everyone, and never give any real orders.

At least this will help out the mic spam within the first 30 seconds of a map.

Yes and no.
The frequency of this happening has dramatically increased in the past week.
Today was horrid and gave me the push to write this up.

Also, to azn:
We just need to make it a habit, and lead by example.
Players will catch on to it, and make it a regular thing.

im glad your stating this Chase, but there is yet 1 great flaw in this system...the pubs. they dont know that we have a thread about this on our site. so be aware that the pubs will take some getting used to. and Death_Blade, heres something for you. every round and time that i come on jail, you are the one wardening, and that has to end. gotta give others a chance at havin some fun on the mic.

If we have the opposite scenario where noone wants to be warden, then the asking rule applies again/someone can just take it.

Mmm... can't say I agree or disagree. I'm not trying to be negative on this or anything but it has a high probability that it won't work, sure people might do it at first, then, it gets forgotten and the cycle starts again. Nice post though, way to show em'.

its a great idea and all. but pubs will never follow that. and some member will never follow that, everyone wants to be in power so they think if they call it first they get it. and taking turns, however much we wish it would work, sadly it wont

Well initially, ive seen good results.
Earlier a situation was avoided using this method.
