Logitech mx518. Good buy or not?

yes thats the only reason.....they look cool and have blue lights or red lights lol, i hear they feel decent though since they can be used lefty or righty. I wouldn't hesitate trying them but i just hate it when people just go OH RAZER they are the best go with them, because they definitely aren't the best.

haha nah im just arguing against your quote that "razer is the best" i know you said your opinion and all.....i dont hate Razer, i think their mice and keyboards are fairly good, i actually planned on buying one, im just saying they aren't the best just because they're razer. There are a lot of people that just go "OMG it's razer, they're definitely the best because they're razer" which is just fanboyish kinda.

Yea i didn't mean to bash on you, just trying to say that just because they're razer doesn't mean they are the best because a lot of people in eGO when they see a topic like this go, "get a Razer".

Im currently using a MX and it has improved my prformace (pc wise not just gaming) alot, the only reason i bought it because its huge and heavy, it fits my palm but i do suggest thinking over the g5 or g9

Razer mice look gross. Why don't they just put them in vending machines at middle schools, because they are obviously going after the under 16 crowd.

That being said, I love logitech mice. Very good quality, last forever, and I prefer the shape and look to them over the Razer. Neither really provide much difference between themselves, except shape and some small stuff.

I bouth my MX-518 in 2006 and is the best purchase I have made for a mouse Cool design and great precision.

i've used the mx518 and it's a very good mouse, i use the g5 now cuz i wanted to upgrade either one is a good choice imho. i steer clear of Razer cuz i don't like the feel of their mice, i used a friend's for a couple days and i didn't like it at all.

I've owned a mx518 for almost 2 years...I definitely recommend it if you are on a budget. I know everyone is suggesting either a G5 or a razer...but don't overlook the microsoft sidewinder. Especially if you have med - large hands....whenever I try out my brother g5 it feels WAY too small...and the sidewinder has some nice features...just be sure you get the wired mouse instead of the wireless version.
