The fake update page is what started this whole thing, this didn't come after. In fact if you click the patent on the blog it brings you to this page as well.

There have been numerous threads about this (my thread was nearly 4 pages long alone.)

idk, valve might do it to make it seem more cartoony.
TF2 is already rather unrealistic.

Actually you got it a little backwards.

The user guy made the update page first, and the community rallied behind it.

I personally think its a great idea, with a few tweaks of course...

This entire conversation is about something Valve has already stated was a joke. C'mon people, somebody released a fake spy update about 6 months before the update containing new spy equipment came out. A lot of players are jumping the gun on this. Valve would probably never do it because it would kill the game. I say probably since with Valve, we never know.
