Baby-sitting comes under attack

Yeah, there are lots of really weird laws out there that don't make much sense. For example, in Alabama, "It is legal to drive the wrong way down a one-way street if you have a lantern attached to the front of your automobile." and "Dominoes may not be played on Sunday."

and this... just from the state... the parents who's kids being watched didn't even bring up any complaints to the authorities? the state just decided to jerk with her?
thats messed up.


church and state are sperate for this very reason... Churches didn't want the state telling them how to worship.
And the state shouldn't be telling us how to take care of our kids... as long as the kids are not in danger then gtfo.

My understanding of the story was that another neighbor registered a complaint and that was what started this whole fiasco. Great neighbor huh.

Welcome to my State! The good news is our government wants to change that law, and since they're not about to shut down tonight because they have a budget in place for next year....oh crap.

I stayed in the house of my friend/neighbor all the time when it was raining/snowing waiting for the bus stop at his house. It was all good and very kind of them.
