They're now taking applications for Star wars the old republic closed beta. Right now when they made the announcement it blew up the web server so it's down atm. Just wait till it comes back up.

I don't really like to beta test. Ill just play it when i see the finished version.
 
Also, pro MMO beta sign up tip. If it asks if your in the video game industry, you will probably think. OH that will boost my chances of getting in! Wrong, it will make them deny your application. They don't want reviewers and stuff and other devs looking at the game in beta.

My friend did that in warhammer, he was the only one out of like 50 of us to not get a beta key.
 
the site is down i just read about it on kotaku. was going to make a thread but saw one was already made. ill keep checking hourly if not every 30 mins

As much as I am looking to this game, I don't think I'd like to do the beta...call me crazy.

Telling people to spam f5 aka refresh wont make the site run run better lol
 
Idk about anyone else but i cant seem to sign up, it keeps going round in circles, asks for display name, pass email etc, then if im interested in beta testing, then it asks to give personal info, i put it in, and press ok, then it leads me to the previous page..
 
thanks for posting about this, otherwise i would have never been able to sign up for the beta!!!

Make sure all of your info is in your profile. I had the same problem until I notice all of my info wasn't in there. You have to check the box saying you want to participate in the beta also.
