because u can buy battelfield 2 on steam, does it mean u can enter a BF2 cd key on steam and add ti to my account?

cuz, they didnt used to seel it, i had to add it as a thrid party game.

Nope, only a handful of non-Valve games can be activated on Steam

You can add a non Steam game to your list if its retail, in this case a retail copy of Battlefield 2. But entering your retail Cd key will not register with your Steam account.
