Is it the 26th yet?!!!!! Gah!!:facewall::P

btw, i think i will try Roland first, like the medic idea thing.

The only problem with pre game build speccing is we don't know how it will pan out. We are just using past experience to make logical decisions.

But if someone was int he beta and could clarify that'd be great

The only other Hero I'm considering at start is Roland

Mainly a supportive role (medic / support)

It's the full game, not the beta. He got it early in stores because Best Buy or wherever he went to put it on shelves early, thus allowing him to buy it.

I'm going snipppppeeeeeerrrr. Think we'll have enough people to have grinding nights or something?

What I meant is that, although it is fun to mull over speccing our character, we won't know what is effective until we have played with these specs with our game-play style. I wasn't refering to your post.

Anyone know if the melee is single click or slotted (like CoD or like Vavle games) i.e. Is it a single input to melee or do i have to pull out my melee to use it? (I'd prefer the latter, as I'm used to that w/ valve. )

Its a single click

hmm..i was just wondering..if you start in single player..then go to a multiplayer game and do some quest ect..can you go back to single player with the same char? This was probably already said in a video somewhere..but im too lazy to find it :)

This game feels like Call of Duty 4. Dunno why.
Yeah... you might want to do some more research.

There is NO resemblance between the two games.

Only similarity is they have guns.

Other than that, borderlands is a open world and has real RPG elements.. nothing like COD4 where you might level up but its not real RPG because you aren't finding a ton of loot.

I could list a million other things, just please.. dont compare them. The graphics don't even look remotely similar.

Yes. I know for a fact you can. I've heard/read about it in a few places. It's an amazing thing, isn't it?

And I don't know why it would be a problem to have a Borderlands Steam group.

yeah pretty amazing indeed thanks ; )..i don't see any problem with a borderlands steam group either..

I basically can't watch any gameplay videos, or else I'm going to go insane.

On a side note, I just bought 10 blu-ray movies off of Craigslist for $50 :)
