I'm not going to lie, but i remember someone from eGO sending links to people for some promotion and the site was bogus. it was a .us site and just copied the steampowered source code and had the user/pass fields go to some place in INDIA. hmmmmmm....

Good!

I have always used these tips, but someone used Bruteforce and hacked my steam a week ago, I got it back but I had to wait 58 hours :/

yay see im smart. i PM'd a dl a few days ago asking to take off my access cause of hacked steam, then boom it says to do that here

no cheating, robdog won lol

If I could make my password as long as a book, I would! LOL!

Peace!

Remember you can always add symbols to your password.
A = @
E = 3
O = 0
V = ^
L = 7
Z = 2

I would also like to add this. If you're paranoid about getting your account hacked you can always change your password once a week, once a month or when ever you feel like.

When you verify your account with steam doesn't that keep things like this from going on? It shoots an email to you to confirm the change of PW correct?

Why would you EVER want to give out your password in the first place? Epic fail for no common sense!

i figured that the hackers would be only looking to steal good ones. xD
the low digits and the accounts with high values.

..... they give you links and they make the site look like the steam community and you type in your password and it gives it to them no one hands out the password you get tricked
