I just got it earlier... weirded me out.

but after talking with people on BM we managed to sort out why we got this hat, and now i am thoroughly disappointed that i still don't have a random drop hat... (Halos, Gibbuses, and Bill's Here! just don't feel like "real" hats...

Now if we have to put a plugin blocking Bills Hat to prevent discrimination in the servers, I'm all for it.

I wish all this hat business was never introduced in TF2. It's tearing the community a part.


I received the hat. I bet there will be a skin making the hat green because that's the way it looks like in L4D1

Not getting it because my laptop can't handle l4d, let alone l4d2, so I don't want to waste money just for cool looking pixels.

P.S. It can barely handle TF2, but it's too fun to not play!

I got the hat! It popped up, then i scared the hell outta myself by almost clicking the Discard button. :scared:

I like when companies do this. Im not sure what all the controversy is about. I preordered L4D2 a little while ago, just for early demo access, and this hat turns out to be another nice bonus. I appreciate little gifts like this.

Wow, Valve fails me more everyday. I used to play TF2 on a regular basis. They have just butchered this game. After playing the L4D 2 demo I can't believe they put a 50 dollar price tag on it with a clear conscience.....

Feels like Valve is making up to us the fact that the early demo wasn't so early because it was pushed forward for like 26 hours total. But I'm not complaining, the hat looks win and Valve is win.

an Ellis hat would be kinda... not obvious, and nobody else really has hats, so unless you want to have a Spitter Thong in TF2 just accept something from the old game

I liked the times when hats were still rare.

But hey, why not give a hat for every game you got. a Headcrab for those who have all Half-Life games.

But the Bill hat looks pretty good, I wont be having it tho.

Yes, it only applies to the Steam orders sorry. Just got mine, and I'm pleasantly surprised because I just preordered L4D2 with some friends and got it for 33$ and now valve is throwing me a free hat! Someone pinch me unless it's Christmas!!!
