CSS Issues

My Counter Strike Source keeps having a bunch of random issues all of the sudden. It keeps freezing and saying connection problem and it crashed 1 or 2 times and the 1 time i was dropped from the server back to the main menu with no error message to refer to. PLease help me

That happens to me sometimes too, but it's because of my internet connection. First check your own internet settings, if those are fine then I'm not sure what the problem would be.

It sounds like your internet connection. If you're using wi-fi then it could be lag spikes.

well if all else fails, you can look up the problem online or try steam help forums as well as tech help section of the website, but it seems like your question has been answered

yeah It happens to me all the time... I just switched to wifi and I have make sure my connection is good before I play...

Do you have wireless? Like someone said above it could be lag spikes, you can contact the steam support if everything else doesnt work.

:chair: ahahaha...anyways, i get connection problems when 1. the server crashes 2. my internet disconnects 3. the lag at the beginning of eGO

sometimes I will get random crashes of CSS and it will say something like half life engine has encountered a problem...blah blah blah

sounds like you just need to fix your internet connection or w/e

see if you have loss prior to losing connection - if so then internet connection - turn off your router )

i got a prob too... when a server changes map, it will load an connect to it but when im in the new map, it doesn't respond or something, the chokes go up also...

Try getting a new router / modem.. When i did that it fixed the problems you are having for me.
