Folding@eGO team, round 2! (If you don't know what folding is, please read)

Upper 800's guys! Keep going.

If I have multiple machines over here, can I run it on them, join our team, and name them like 'watersnake1' and 'watersnake2' or something?

You can have them all fold under the same name(ex. WaterSnake) and all of the points will count under that name(WaterSnake).

Oh, I see what you are saying BFM. You're just using the more technical lingo then I use. I follow the KISS(Keep It Simple Stupid) rule, lol.

Disclaimer: Not calling anyone here stupid... :P

Ever since ESXi came out and I got hooked on virtualization I've been using way too complicated terms explaining things. You're not the first one to say it!

but when i go with "user stats"

While that does kind of suck, it still counts toward the science.:)

Is sciences just one conglomerate idea? One big ball of folding points?

I want you to RUN down to that university and BEG them to get his team switched.

Yes and no. There are different projects, however, it's not like one project is assigned to one team, and another to a second team. It's randomly assigned(depending on the types of clients you are running as well).

They have a strict no point changing policy. All points for complete work units aren't going anywhere. However, he can change his team number so that all new work unit points go towards eGO.

I was kidding, but sarcasm doesn't really flow through text very well...

Well, I'm glad that he can still change. Hopefully too much time hasn't been lost...

I know my numbers have dropped off a bit recently. I hope to have my GTX260s in their new homes sometime this week.

I've been folding like a maniac these past 2 weeks. I'm going to get the client set up on my dad's computer and maybe a linux machine. We're going to the top, baby!

SOS!!! My VMware isn't using my cores anymore. It says:

Out of memory: kill process 1099 (mpiexec) score 50663 or a child
Killed process 1100 (FahCore_a2.exe)

What do I do! :-O (i ask cuz I'd rather not go into google right now)
I'll put up a screenie after I get a couple more hours sleep and come back from the shopping madness that is Black Friday.. :-)

Nevr heard of that one. I'll link you to two forums where you should be able to get some help( Stanford's own forum, and the maker of the notfreds client you are running).

Thanks freakinghell, i posted on the folding forum; any info released there I'll share with the group here in case anyone else runs into that error.
