i had been using tigerdirect.ca as im from canada and didn't know many other sites....and today i found out theres a newegg.ca!

i feel stupid but YAY FOR SAVINGS! lol

Newegg.com is my #1 parts-house (I run a computer business). If you bank with Wachovia, you can get up to a 15% discount @ TigerDirect.com which will bring their limited-supply and over-priced stuff down to normal.

Newegg.com is EXCEPTIONAL for grabbing real-time parts quotes and building wish-lists.

True. But that wait is killing me.

I'm basically using TigerDirect & NewEgg. But for some things I try just using the shopping feature of Google. Works pretty well. I found a Deathadder mouse for $49, with a $10 mail in rebate thanks to it.

Biggest un-sung costs are shipping and grief. At least with newegg, you get it all in one place and with a guarantee. Not to mention the ability to save your wishes for future reference. (my memory sucks, so it helps me keep track of what's for whom)

Shopping w/ google is a GREAT time-waster/filler, but don't count on anything you find as 100% available or accurate.

I have been using NewEgg exclusively for years. Yeah you get some DOA stuff every now and then, but they take the return and process it faster than any other electronics online store I've used.

10/10 for NewEgg!
