Yeh, staying up until daft-o'clock in the morning can be a tinsy-winsy bit of a pain in the butt.

Why bother bringing in non-eGO's when we have a load of e's perfectly willing to be bashed, shot and blown up for such a great cause?

Basic stuff? No, there will be advanced stuff. Rocket jumping can be used for many things other just gaining inaccessible areas. There will also be class vs class strategies, but some of them vary by map. There will also be some map specific strategies for Soldier, and lots more like that. Basic stuff will be covered in the first couple of minutes for review before we move on to more advanced stuff.

Want to learn how to wall jump and things like that? Then this is for you.
 
Yay for the update. Does this mean that even I can butt in on the bootcamp? I'd love to learn some more.

somehow i can't help but think this is aimed towards me... even though i rarely deflect anything of yours...:glare:
 
Wow, i could use some help, i want to be awesome at all the classes, and even though i think im quite good at soldier i want to be better!

I'm interested, although I mainly play as Demo, I'd like to learn more about Soldier. I am in Central Standard Time, and my availability varies. If you picked a day and a time I could let you know whether I could attend or not. I am usually available in the evenings as well.

No, it is aimed at competent Pyros in general. There are ways of beating a compression blasting Pyro, and I do it all the time. I rarely get killed by my own rocket, and I even kill Pyros with my rockets.

This video shows the wall jump in play (rocket jump, then rocket jump off an adjacent wall), it's very useful to use to get to certain areas faster.

Guess what? People who are interested will learn and practice this in class. =D

I'm EST, Around 7pm-9:45pm is good for me, any time in the afternoon works on saturdays and sundays.
