yea i was contimplating buying that headset also after seeing leaked ads on it for only $50...........you honestly can't go wrong with it, i would get one but i just got a gaming headset that i am very happy with. I might pick up a sound card though.

Make sure you get a good sound card. I bought the X-Fi Xtreme gamer card and it turns out my onboard Realtek was better.

watt??? how can that be.......isn't the xtreme gamer a good sound card for gaming?? i heard the reviews were good atleast

a good sound card would not help because this is a USB headset with a built in sound card......

Im prob gonna end up not getting one because i honestly won't be able to tell the difference probably

It's a great card, yeah.

But, the Realtek has alot more bass kick to it, other than that I couldn't really tell a difference. So, imo it's not worth spending money for if you have a nice onboard. Plus, Creative didn't (at the time) have Windows 7 drivers for it so I couldn't edit the settings like I could on Vista, so I just decided to give it to my brother.
