motorola droid

[Soul_of_a_Sinner]

Sup guys... over the holidays I stopped out at my verizon/alltel store on black Friday to hopefully get a new phone and mess around with my contract. Anyways I had seen the droid advertised over the last few weeks and was instantly captivated. So I checked it out at the store, loved all the features and what not so I picked it up. Over the course of the last couple days I have been really impressed. I found the resolution to be quite impressive very good touch screen, but most impressive to me is the cell service, I am currently out in the middle of PA, where I hardly ever got service and found out that I get 3G!!! XO. Able to watch videos, check e-mail...and write this. The only negative is that the keyboard is hard to determine where keys are w/o looking right at it. Also found some cool astronomy apps (I'm an astronomy major). In my opinion it is right up there with the iPhone, my bro has one so I can compare somewhat. I encourage anyone who wants a hi-tech phone to check out the Motorola Droid! Well check with you guys later

It looks amazing, but I'm with AT&T so I'll have to wait for the next big smartphone craze

I love it, but the keyboard leaves a lot to be desired.

I think that phone sounds sweet, but I have sprint and Im very happy with my Instinct s30, and I also have 4G service, oh yea!

I'm right with you there.

I have sprint with the HTC hero, which minus the keyboard is the same thing as the droid.

They are very similar, but there are some major differences that put's the Droid above the Hero, at least in my book. Both good(great?) phones though.
