I erased my previous post and copy and pasted my same thing on another forum, fyi.
Hey guys, I need some help. To start off I have an Azza Solano 1000
How many of you have the Corsair H50 water cooling kit? I was looking into it but had a few questions. First, would it be better to take off my case's rear exhaust fan and just the one that Corsair provides? Or would it be better to use the one that comes with my case?
Secondly, I was reading this installation guide (don't have it yet) and it said that the manual says air needs to be blown ONTO the radiator, meaning my rear exhaust would need to become a rear intake. So if that's the case, would it be wise to turn my front intakes into front exhausts?
Another idea I had was turn the front AND rear into intakes, and just turn the huge fan on the side into an exhaust, removing all of the heat in the middle. I would do the same with the top fan, turn it into an exhaust.
How's those ideas sound?
EDIT: I just watched a YouTube video, and the guy reviewing it said there can be a 120mm fan on BOTH sides of the radiator. Meaning I could keep my case's stock, and mount the radiator between that and the one it comes with. But what direction of airflow would be best?
