I normally achieve a 8mbps rate at home, on this machine with this connection and can normally have 1mb/sec download rates consistently , dont take long at all for games to d/l.

10 mbps download for my house, its like the fastest you can get as residential for canada. oh how i wish i could have verizon...or whoever it is in the states that you can get like 15-25-50 or something mbps

Well Telus is testing/introducing 50mbps in parts of Canada right now. I'm trying to get on the deal, especially since it's in the testing stages. $40-$60 a month isn't that bad, especially concerning what Telus is charging me now for 5mbps.

FiOS and ex-Verizon Business/Verizon Core employee. It's good to know people.

I think I pay about $169 - $179 for phone, internet, and TV (including 3 HD set top boxes).

Somebody else asked why this was in the help section... I think it here because it HELPS me brag about a kick arse internet connection.
