I say we get all the people who want the soldier to win in this here thread, and all the demos in another, whos with me?!?!?!?!

Gentlemen, there comes a time in a man’s life when when HE MUST DRAW LINES! Friendship is FINE for tea parties and shopping trips to the dress store! But when the chips are down, a soldier puts ASIDE friendship for the good of WAR!

Every Demoman gutted, garroted, exploded or otherwise killed by a Soldier will mean a POINT for the Soldier Team! At the end of this week, when the points are tallied AND WE ARE FOUND TO HAVE MORE, we will be awarded an EXCLUSIVE ONE-OF-A-KIND WEAPON.

Gentlemen, I have NO IDEA what this weapon is. I don’t even know if I’ll WANT it. But BY GOD, I know what’s IMPORTANT, and it’s that WE get it and the DEMOMAN DOES NOT.

We will win, my Soldier brethren. I will be targeting enemy demomen exclusively. #1 priority target this week. :)

I got himmel, clubs and highstepper all to go solly for the week. There goes a chunk of community.
 
Btw, guys. If you guys are interested, I'm hosting a 1 hour, two class (European and North American friendly) Soldier training event. Join if you wish to learn more tactics, advanced moves, and counters/strategies against the other 8 classes including himself - more importantly, the demoman..
 
I'm supporting you in spirit :P

I'll act like im still playing tf2 and killing demomen while playing cod/css.

I'll see if I can be there! Although I must say the demomen may bave a slight advantage with their blasted sticky traps everywhere :glare:

Contrary to what most people think, a competent Soldier will win over a competent Demomen most of the time. The Soldier has a huge advantage against the Demoman when he gets within the Soldier's effective range.

The Demoman's main advantage against the Soldier is his stickybombs - they are very effective when their targets are a bit further away, but are less effective when they target is close to them.

He may have pipebombs, but they are only good if they land a direct hit. Any other than direct hits (unless it's a crit splash) won't be too damaging.

Don't forget, we also have the Shotgun for a reliable backup weapon. :)
 
If I was able to play I would fight the demoman scourge with you all. GET OUT THERE AND KILL THOSE PATHETIC MAGGOTS!

Hmmm...I main soldier so I guess that's all I will play this week...
Also, try to avoid chasing after demomen...It usually ends up in a sticky trap...Hahaha
