it all depends on the user, i have a 160gb and currently only have 30gb used
 
What is the frequency and the timings of the RAM? Is the OS 64 bit? What motherboard? Is the PSU the 750TX or the 750HX?
 
its a TX and the ram is stock 800MHz and Asus P5KPL-CM<-- free from tech class :D (PSU was free also from tech Class)and no 32bit but i have win7 64bit on the way (Retail as upgrade)

Mmm, 5/10, but I still don't get this rating thing. Everybody has different budgets, different performance requirements, and different applications for their computers. If it is in your budget, does everything you want it to do as fast as you want it to do it, then it's a 10/10.
 
thanks, CPU was only 30bux lol. my friends mobo crashed and he only had the quad for 3-4 months and it still worked so he sold it to me for 30 lol
cause his parent bought him a alien ware laptop for graduating lol
 
Sounds like a great rig for the price you payed. $30 for a Q6700, a free good power supply, and a free motherboard. How much did you spend in total?
 
vid card 100 ram 60 cpu cooler 60 casee free but just bought a HAF 922 for 100 hdd free dvd burner free lol. my monitor/HDTV cost more then my rig LOL
my samsung cost 130 and my vizio cost bout 260
so all together on just the rig about 340(not including monitors) lol

How's that even possible? My Steam folder by itself is almost 30gb..

320gb hdd: 262gb used

500gb hdd: 129gb used

total: 391gb used
 
7/10 on my scale

my rig i would say is like a 5

ATi 4890, 3.1ghz phenom II x2 @3.7GHz

i would reserve a 1 for a netbook

il put my pics up tomorrow after i get it all in my new case il have it tomorrow plus i got a saitek keyboard with red led's to go with my red led razer mouse and my case :D

i have 34,022,068,224 bytes used (34GB). on my HDD is windows xp with the typical accessories, audlogics disk defrag, cpuid (cpuz/hwmonitor), fraps, borderlands, HLSW, ad-aware, logitech, mozilla, nvidia, rivatuner, steam/CSS, STALKER shadow of chernobyl, vent, VLC, winrar, gameranger, adobe, paint.net, game called pristontale and thats it.

my steam folder is only 4.62GB

will use more once i install the rest of my games when i get my 5850, but i'll never use more than 80-100GB, i don't store movies or music at all. i have a harddrive with linux that has approx 100GB worth of some seminar videos i burn for people

believe me, you will. Newer games are in the 5-10 GB range, and i have roughly 1/2 of my steam games installed (48 games) and its taken up roughly 92.8 GB of my 300 GB. (im downloading some of em as i write this) Unfortunately since i use my pc for itunes and work, i have barely <30 GB left.
