Doesn't Bungie and Bungie only own the rights to Halo? Wasn't there some big thing about this a few years ago?

Future Halo games will be overseen by the recently revealed 343 Industries, which is headed up by former Bungie employee Frank O?Connor.

Probably not the end of the series, but it'll just be handled by different people. Whether this'll turn out for the better remains to be seen.

very old news, and yes, like everyone said, its only bungie giving up on it. but i dont blame them, they are a good company and it was only a matter of time when they were going to get out of it. not making halo games in not going to hurt them. people are going buy whatever they put out next because of one simple thing.

If I remember right. MS purchased the Halo rights, that was an agreement of Bungie's release.

Bungie was having problems with MS for a long time.

That would be epic. i might have to buy it just to see what being a janitor is like. maybe they will give you a mask with the game so you know what it smells like when you have to clean the toilets after master chief.
