This is what cools my I7 CoolerMaster Hyper Z600
She is old but with new fans and regular cleaning routine she gets the job done.
The fan replacement is EZ I don't have to take the heat-sink off the CPU

I am putting together another system this holiday weekend.
Y?
I don't know
Wait I do I want to be like BFM your my hero with your 1 million plus points.
i'm thinkin of building a little one w/ powerful graphics and wifi to sit by my tv to stream hi def...it would be perfect to leave on all day folding <3 we'll see :-D
If your not going to get it soon then you should send it to me. I'll use it to fold for eGO and pay shipping both ways, plus $10 or so dollars for the trouble. Full reimbursement for damage. Oh wait...I'm broke from buying a 55" Samsung 8000 LED.:glare:
ok, got a quick question. how do i know if its working? also i tried to search & see if my username was available, but didnt tell me whether it was available or not.
It doesnt matter, as long as you put the team number for eGO in your points will only go there.. unique usernames are if you want to password protect yourself so no one can pretend to be you and help you up your wu's lol
if you hit ctrl+alt+delete and go to the Performance tab, you'll see how much your processor load is. If it's at or near 100%, it's working :-D
if you have more than one core and aren't using vmware it'll probably fluctuate the usage; i have i7 but since i got off the vmware and am using the normal client, i usually have two cores that fluctuate between 40-70%, two between 15-30%, and a couple at 0%. With vmware, all of them will be at 100%
ps: if you're using vista or win 7, you can use that nifty gadget for showing processor load. for i7, there's one on the windows site that shows the performance of all 8 cores.
Currently at my girlfriend's place, left my pc on at home folding though, now to hope my dad wont be like ''What's this? Power button!'' as he usually does
