Well guys not many people showed up for our spy classes, seeing as we dont give much heads-up. But I will be taking requests for individual training with spy tactics. And I will be hosting another class at

5PM EST Today.

Our last few classes have been fun. PM me if you want individual training I have a server available where I can do this.

Hope to cya guys in the next class!

I am thinking about hosting a pyro class... Though I dont think many people like l33t pyros.

The server info will be posted in general room 3 in Ventrilo at about 4:45 EST.

I nid some training to be a SPY!!!

can you collect all the spies and then run them off a cliff. You will make alot of snipers and medics happy.

let me know if you need a big van to pile them up in, Idol owns a used Van dealership and will give me a good deal.

Your equal will show up tomorrow, Zero.

P.D: I could always use some personal lessons, haha.

Not a dealership HnK, just one particular van...that I live in...down by the river.

I've found the best spy practice to be play engy and heavy (favorite spy targets) and pyro (spy nemisis). Get aggressive and then get good at spy-checking. You'll find most spies follow a very predictable pattern on each map. The good spies avoid the obvious spots and routes but still have a pattern. Pay attention to how you find them, the mistakes they make, and where they run when threatened. Then when you play spy, don't do these things. At the very least you will know where people are most likely to check for you and can avoid these places.

Thats a reverse way of I how learned how to play spy. I had trial by error and learned the hard way of what not to do. I dont think I have a certain patten on how I play, I tend instead to see the situation and react fast and over the 1000 hrs I have played spy it has become like a reflex in alot of situations alot of really good spys would say the same thing imo. I think the best way to know how a spy thinks and acts is to master spy. You can then weed out the spys and know all the hiding spots, not just the regular hiding spots.

5PM EST Tomorrow.

Ill be there if you need me, another thing guys is that I spoke to some Event Coordinators and they are letting me use the Fun server on Wednesday Dec. 30th at 1 PM CST to host a spy training class. It is a scheduled event, so it will be first come first served. hope to see you guys there :).

I'll be there :D, I just got back from vacation. I'm real good at blending in and things like that, same with stalking and all that stuff, but I cannot for the life of me A. Stairstab (except on vents on mesa, yay training wheels), or B. do the thing where you run forward a second then backwards and your enemy runs in front of you and you stab them. Oh well, I'll be there as since I just got back from vacation I'll need some refreshing ;)

Frisky, I'm not saying that the best way to become the best spy ever is to NEVER play spy. I'll save that sort of logic for when I'm arguing with xosnipahz. What I'm saying is you should spend some time playing against the spy to truely understand its weaknesses.

I play pyro lots and LOVE, LOVE, LOVE feeding soldiers their own rockets. So I played soldier for a while and worked out a decent soldier tactic against airblasting pyros. When I went back to pyro and found a soldier who was ready for me...I was ready for him. I'm not saying I can now pwn any solly I meet (except ToiletPastries, what a n00b), but playing soja made me a better pyro. That's my point.
