In honor of this week's auction server winner, I wanted to give you guys a present.

Introducing, the song. If you don't know this song, and you're in eGO, well shame on you! Note, you'll get bonus points if you play this song for GardenGroveVW in Vent the next time you see him. Super bonus points if you actually sing it to him yourself. And if you bring me into the room while you sing it to him, I'll give you $5000 casino points for your effort! For those of you who are new around here, Convoy can be seen as kind of an eGO mascot server of sorts. Way back in the day, we used to run a 24/7 Convoy server. The server was pretty popular for a while and developed quite a loyal following. Unfortunately, the server was eventually cut due to a myriad of reasons but still has a few fans around the community.

So, like the McRib last week, Convoy's back for a limited time only, thanks to our bidders!

Why am I making this post? Well, Convoy was one of my introductions to eGO and the server that I was first recruited from. I've even got a screenshot of a tagless RESPAWN playing on the server prior to joining up. Yes, I too was once a pub. :)

So, let's all get some Convoy in this week while we can!

That video gives me haunting memories of growing up in Ohio surrounded by uneducated people. :)

This is gonna be fun with the new demos charging off the edge to their dooms.

Haha. Mine's not that much better these days either. There's a reason I call myself RESPAWN. :)

respawn is my really fake middle name :D

anyway...Convoy...ahh the memories *sniper headshot* all the time i spent on that map *headshot again* reminds me of the time *headshot again* okay, nevermind, different map please.

jokes aside, its a map i remember, i believe it was a map i was playing just before joining an eGO server for the first time (which was blackmesa though >.>) i still like the map a whole lot :D its probably one of my favorites! although my one gripe about it is that 24/7 can get boreing after a little while, its still a really fun map.

Now we just need cashworks and I'll have had my "maps from when I was a newbie" fix.

Convoy was one of the first maps I played before I joined eGO as well. It has a permanent place in my heart.

I played Convoy when I was just a simple pubber with no Dead Ringer and had to rely on my ninja skillz.

Ahhhh convoy! Brings back the memories before egypt. I used to FAN across and take the intel and fan back lol.

Never played it before and had fun on it moments ago. A really good map, finally someone chose a good map for this server. You will see me often on this map and hope it fills up so we can have a good match up on it.

I've seen that movie, Convoy. Do I get casino cash for that? =D

I'll be sure to check the map tomorrow. It sounds like fun.

I think 24/7 Convoy was the first eGO server I ever played on! Love that map! :)

How long ago was this server? Reading these all these recent TF2 posts about the past make me feel really young.
