hey guys! i was wondering wouldn't it be cool if we had a dog tag scrin?

CSS has them all the time and they are pretty fun. I would really like to see something like that for DoD.

we have had them before, a while ago though. They died out after poor turnout (usually around 6-10 people per team on a 32 person server)

As some of you may know im one of the hosts of the moderately successful eGO Realism Night, so ill be trying to get as many suckers-- i mean players as i can to play in this event (if it gets off the ground) keep an eye out for more details!

I'm in. Coincidentally, I made a similar suggestion in the dropbox recently. Although I suggested a tournament style. Something like each team plays the others 2 or 3 times (on different maps), and the two teams with the best record face off for the championship. The players can vary from scrim to scrim to allow for RL schedules.

The reason for not having the Dog Tags scrim is a simple premise. We've held them before, and we had very low turnout, among other problems that don't need to be mentioned here. We currently have 4 events we do every week. Out of these, Realism and Kalt Assault do well, but the others suffer. While pistol night has been doing better lately, wild-card still has very few people coming. We are not going to be re-visiting Dog Tags scrims until we know we will have enough people to make it a real scrim, not a 7 v 7.

So if you guys really wanna do these, I'll see you on Tuesday and Thursday nights first. If we start to fill up these events, don't be surprised to see us bring Dog Tags scrim back.
