For some reason youtube loads extremely slow, but other video streaming sites are fine. What could be the problem :confused1: I know it can't be my internet speed because mine is unreasonably fast. Thanks in advance

Why is your upload so bad relative to your down?

Anyways, some people speculate that it's the googlevideo servers that are slow, some people say that your connection is being limited either by your address pool or previous connection. Uninstalling and reinstalling the adobe plugin has fixed for some but you tried that. Try going here: http://hidemyass.com. It will hide your IP from the servers and some have said that this loads videos faster. At least if this works you've narrowed down the possible problems.

Hardly.

Changing from windows to mac is not a technical solution.
Back on topic. Have you tried accessing yt on a different browser?

Try the HQ video if it's an option, that usually loads a ton faster than standard def for me.

it may be Flash player 10. The newest version is buggy on some computers...
