Two Monitors for one computer

A video card that will support it. Most video cards nowadays come with two ports. Just plug your monitors in there and you're good to go.

Yesterday night i was going for the same thing, borrowed a monitor from my bro to see how a dually plays. I could not seem to get both monitors to display correctly in any games. Warhead would have one black monitor, TF2 would only display the primary , MW2 would do the same . I had it set to span across both monitors and it would do so in windows , but not in game. I am certain i had the correct settings in Nvidia control panel but upon doing some googling, there was a few options people mentioned which i did not see. I looked in Windows display properties as well as Nvidia's. Even so, i did not find much regarding this as i would expect its not too much of an issue for many.

My drivers are current with nvidias latest 196.xx on a GTX260.

I've never tried to span games before, but I don't think it works except for very specific games.

Wow thats not very cool.. for me at least. You guys certain of this? I've seen several images/videos of games such as Warhead and HL2 running on Nvidia hardware . I've tried both those titles and several others with no luck.

2 monitors, 2 cables(most likely DVI or VGA) and a graphics card with 2 outputs.

It depends on what graphics card you have (ati/nvidia)

On the ATI card you just plug two monitors into the graphics card and then open up the catalyst control center and change the HYDRAVISION settings to support the second monitor

Just google search for a how-to and you get all information you need.......
