Hey, so its spring and its still flu season. I got this bad cold and I hate it when your ears get clogged like when your in the airplane. It is uncomfortable and I was wondering do you guys ever get this and is their a remedy that you guys do to fix this. I know someone out there will be my hero and some how have an idea that they will kindly share so I can solve this. The yawning/blowing ear thing doesn't work and nothing pops my ear. I know it will go away eventually, but it's the longest time I have ever had. So anyone out there with some good advice, please help. :thumbup1:

Thanks

sit inside the bathroom with a hot shower going. That should help you.

I've tried that lol. Still doesn't work. The room was so steamy that I was yelled at for putting the water on super hot. I've even tried putting my ear right next to steaming water that I boiled, but it still didn't work. This thing is so annoying because I have to deal with customers during work and its sometimes hard to hear them hahaha. :glare: Any more advice?

Thanks

You need to take some cold medicine that has a decongestant in it. It will help with the pressure build up in your head.

go to a pharmasist and ask for ear medicine i cant remeber what the name of it it but you put a drop in each ear and they will pop and you canb acualy hear things again and not just your heart beat

LOL, on the heart beat. I also hear a loud ringing/beep noise in my hear. It's annoying so I'll try to get some of those ear medicine.

And xosniper, I've read about decongestant... have you actually tried it and does it really work?

Thanks for the advice guys.

actually, ringing in the ear is called tinnitus and can be a serious problem. you might want to get that checked out.
