Except you can get it to only run oc'd when it's needed and at regular or even downclocked otherwise. Change of power draw going up to 900Mhz (from 550) is very minimal.

I've been overclocking my WinMo phones since 2007 or so.

thats cool.........you could basically just have it overclock when your running apps etc..and downclock when its idling to make up for the battery loss.
