Thursday Night- 8 pm (EST) I will be hosting a strategy and tactics session on the newly acquired Gtactix program. You can download the program at Gtactix.com Please notify me on steam/ventrillo/ or here before tomorrow night so I recognize how many are interested in joining the event. Thank you again,
Pete

i am intrested but i can't make it because i need to work/go school tomorrow. 8 est = 2am for me a little bit to late.

Roger Hardstyle, we can change the time because i realize you are going through some tough times, what works for you? I'm EST (-5 gmt) time, so try to not make it 4 am haha.

I am interested. I will need to download the program with I get home tonight. Emailing myself from work to remind me to do that.

Hey guys,
Love the active feedback and interest :) We are not going to do it until next Thursday (because of HardStyle and my own schedule) but to get the INS maps Google search GTactix Ins pack, simple to find really. Anyway I am excited for this event/ this program will help us prepare for scrims/wars.
PS. NADES/USMC/ a lot of the top scrim teams use this program, so hopefully they will not have such an edge on us in matches to come :)

You can't find the map pack with a google search but I went back to the link I posted above and found it. here is the link!

guys if you want to have the insurgency map packs go to the thread i posted in the ins division forum, there's a link to the official insurgency website where there's a thread about it, you can download the map pack from there.

You have my skills!

I would like to participate in this.

I have experience drawing up real army infantry ops orders. I'm sure I could apply some of the same principles to make a plan for a small group or even a whole team. If this could be combined with Sunday school, it might make a very good teaching tool. I'll play around with the program over the next few days and see what I can do with it.

Just PM or email me or catch me on steam works...

To be honest, I think the most basic useful thing to do is draw all the names we use for different places on the maps. This way everyone can easily communicate exactly where the enemy is and everyone will understand... What do you guys think? Would anyone want something like that??

i think you even can go deeper take a 5 on 5 scrim for exemple on karam
you got players 1-5
you can discuss movements for each player and what to cover and what to look for, afterwards we could do a 5 on 5 scrim maybe on the league server and each team decides who is number 1,2,3,4 or 5 as seen in the tactic session. people can practice that way specific movement and specific cover area's and get more specialised in some weapons/actions. wich will result in a better overal teamplay (and hopefully victory) that's at least what i expect of it.

be in ventrillo thursday guys!!!! its gonna happen thursday don't miss this!!

I agree a weekly 5 on 5 scrimm will help us play better as a team.

Yep, I agree with what was said.

I have drawn up plans for a platoon of 28 doing a FIBUA (Fighting In Built Up Areas - aka Urban Ops) before. Taking into account possible enemy locations, enemy reinforcement sources, where to place our support weapons, arcs of fire, isolating the objective, etc. Maybe I might have some useful ideas to help the team...

Hmm, but is there a place where any eGO member can go to find a map with all the locations labeled with their most commonly used name? I believe this would be a very useful tool to have. I would volunteer to do the work of photoshopping it and all too.

The challenge with showing every person's movement and arc of fire is usually that the battle doesn't go that way. But learning how to adjust the plan in the heat of a scrim would be very good training! Well, I'm just here for the fun of good teamwork. I still have yet to have a real amazing team experience for any INS game that I've played. But playing with any eGO members has made my games so much more enjoyable though!

sounds like a great idea to make a post of maps with labels we can start working on that I also have photoshop!
