Thats right, the 5th Generation of Pokemon is already well underway, and Nintendo have begun to reveal some of the new pokemon that will be included. So far 2 new pokemon have been revealed:

Zorua and Zoroark
I found this out here: http://pokebeach.com/ and they should post updates when they occur.
It will be interesting to see what more will be added in the 5th generation.
 
People are still into this?
It was cool back in the 150 days, i figured it would have died off by now...

then again its nintendo, and they have a bad habit of milking things even when their beyond being dried up (sonic)

Very true, though I still quite enjoy the newer games. I just hope they don't crazy with some of the new designs.
For example if we get another:

Then I am going to completely lose faith in some of the designers. I quite like Zorua though; it reminds me of my favourite pokemon from the classics: Vulpix.

Now its too confusing.. i liked it when it was red and blue version pokemon (and i was like 10 years old)
 
I'll probably buy one of the games for old time's sake... like I've been doing for the past few generations :P

EXACTLY! All these companies over complicate everything and it just makes my head hurt! I loved pokemon 5 years ago but now... D:

I dont know to say really.
 
I made it to about 300 before I had to stop counting. I can't go on anymore. Best of luck to the kids (and adults) who keep on trying.
 
They ran out of ideas a LONG time ago. 3rd generation should of been the last one. But I might get this just for old times sake.
 
i have some of the original pokemon cards. and im going to be selling them so if you want them let me know.
 
My wife and I met on a pokemon website years ago. She was 12, I was 13.

I am SO looking forward to Heart Gold and Soul Silver coming out. Gold and Silver were the epitome of Pokemon, and now they're being remade.

Going to be awesome.

Most of the new pokemon they've been introducing suck. Diamond and Pearl weren't really that great (they had cool stuff, but the pokemon were lame). Ruby and Sapphire were pretty cool, but again the pokemon just weren't the greatest.

That's because the pokemon from Red/Blue/Green/Yellow and Gold/Silver/Crystal were all designed by the same guy. After that they branched out and it started to suck from the standpoint of the pokemon themselves.

But the games have always been pretty good. And the two new ones next month. Totally going to rock.

but Bulbasaur didn't want to evolve because he was afraid he would lose his personality. Saddest Pokemon episode ever...

I liked firered, was the last decent pokemon game. Like 7 years ago
 
I used to LOVE these games... They got lame after a while though...

Like digimon, they quit that at a good time, it was starting to get bad
 
They are just going to try and get every last cent they can from the pokemon franchise.
