Hello...

I got since a couple of weeks a very weird problem.:scared:
When i start up my computer with no cd, or another cd then the internet driver CD, i dont have internet sometimes. To fix it i have to put in the driver CD, and restart my computer onces or twice. And this is not normal:P
I doesnt happen alot but when it happens is anoying.:(

Does somebody has a solution for this prob?

Thanks,

BlackBird

Knowing a bit more about your machine would be helpful.

I might suggest deleting the driver from your device manager, and deleting the *.inf file from your system directory. Restart and then reinstall the driver from the CD.

If this gives you proper internet connectivity, then check the card's manufacture website. Download the latest drivers and enjoy!

Side Note: If you used Windows' driver update to install the driver, then go say 3 Hail Marys and sin no more! Windows driver update is a hit-and-miss adventure into the world of computing. I always recommend using the manufacture's website for driver downloads and support software.

Can somebode help me please? I have no Internet at all now. I am writing this from my iPod touch.

I can't get my Internet to work with my internetdriver.
Is there a way to set up Internet via windows xp without install these stupid drivers?

I have windows xp and the linksys wmp54g.

Thanks

blackbird.

Why is it necessary to have the CD in? Shouldn't the drivers be INSTALLED already?

Whats kind of pc do you own, and what are the specs? (ram, cpu, etc). And what OS

Reinstalled my OS/Computer. And it works again. But i hope it keeps working.
Becaus i dont know what i did wrong last time, and maby i'll make the same mistake again and the internet will stop working again.

We'll see:).
