Help Wires and Cold Cathodes...

fan lights are eating the power from the switch which is why it is dimmed. You either need to splice another molex from the psu on to double the power or take the cathode off the sniper switch and give it a separate one. Or live with the dim.

You really should have mentioned the fan lights earlier.

No silly. The fan light has its own power. The switch it just on and off. I need to give the cathode more power, I don't want to fry myself...this is what I have done....

from the inverter...black to black in the molex....and red to red the sniper switch...which works, but dim. pushed the button and everything works, but dim :/

from the inverter...black to yellow in the molex...and red to red to the sniper...cathode works fully, but when i push the button, it blinks and stays on...

any other thoughts?

I am still confused by what you have done. Once again, I think a picture will help. If you can could you show how everything is wired up to the switch?

sniper can't control fan lights without it giving them power. Unless there's two buttons and two molex's it's eating power. Try unconnecting the fans from it and see if it's still dim.

theres two cables coming from the fans..light cables and power fan..

Okay so what powers the lights on the fan? The sniper? Just unplug the lights from the switch and see if the cathode is any brighter

The more things you connect to one source, the less current that all get (assuming they're connected in parallel). That means that they will all be getting less power. Have you ever noticed the lights of your house dim when someone starts a vacuum or a saw? Same idea here.

On page 14 of the manual there is a diagram of how the lights and fans should hook up. Try unplugging all like lights except your cathode and see how much brighter it gets. You should be able to leave the fans plugged in.
