Should !guns be taken from BAS/Bar and left in Dust?

reason why : people are talking about it a lot and i've seen a lot of thread about it and we need to have 1 open debat it and then we shut up about if forever, majority wins! so sunday this needs to be discussed!

do you really think people are going to stick around if you remove the snipers? people who come to the server because of the !guns menu are there because of the !guns menu. removing items from it will just sent them back to wherever they came from.

ive been up all night so im getting tired and grumpy so im sorry if im repeating myself or not making sence. this seem like a was of time. you want to attract more pubs with a !guns menu but you want to then remove the guns that seem popular from the menu and you think this will keep the pubs coming to our servers. whats stopping them from going back to wherever they came from? and the regulars who dont like the guns menu? what happens to them?

I think the relevant things that we as a community need to determine is what the goals of EGO are.

If the goal is to have the highest ranked servers above all else, then the choice is easy. Set all three servers to Dust 24/7, add !guns, and if you are really having fun turn FF off.

If the goal is to attract as many pubs as possible, then !guns seems the popular choice right now. But the question is whether you are attracting the kind of players EGO wants in the first place. There was another thread about dust where it was stated that while Dust is top ranked, it doesn't attract too many EGO worthy pubs.

Personally I think the first goal of EGO is to give it's members what it wants. Attracting pubs and keeping server ranks up is important as well, but if a feature drives away playing members that is the bigger issue IMO.

Hardstyle. That isn't a perfect solution. There will be lots of players (myself included) that simply cannot make a meeting at that time. The forum is the only place that gives members the time it takes to be able to voice their vote.

Kill it, kill it now, it does not fit in with INS at all. Might be fine for Counter-Strike type play, but not INS.

meh. been an admin for awhile now. survived long enough using the forums and steam chat. i dont see vent as essential and the more people tell me it is the less i want it.
