Anyone get this to work? Me and a buddy tried last night. Typed the name in, searched, found the friend online and tried to submit the request. Did it with him sending me one and vice versa and got nothing.

I think its finnicky! It sometimes works and sometimes it doesn't. just another wrinkle in the sheets EA needs to Iron out.

Seems to work best when the person you are both online and out of server

Just use your steam friends list until its working

Oh, and im pretty sure you can add Battlefield as a non-steam game so you can use steam in it and add your friends then
