Thinking about modding my case

Yeah, I think by lighting mod, he means cold cathodes lol. I'd love to get one of those Corsair Obsidian 800D cases with a few cold cathodes in that. You don't need to mod it, it's got all of the holes nicely cut out for you and sealed with rubber. :P

yeah. I want one so bad. :P

And for the cold cathodes, I'm pretty sure you just need zipties and the molex adapters (that come with it, I think) for that.

I recommend punching teeny weeny little holes on the side panel. Even if its not that much it has alot better airflow

The case already has airflow, I mean, that's what it's designed to do.

Pretty nice job. Only thing I don't like are the corners of those windows. That tubing that you're using aren't rounded around the corners. :/ It's tough to do though.

You have to admit is still looks pretty good for an aftermarket case mod.

By the way, did you do a little cable management in there? ;]

Yeah, I know it does look nice. I'm just really picky about the little details of things.

Yeah, I told my dad to get U channel, so went went some that goes on car doors&windows, not computer mods u channel. >.>
I had to get fancy with placing the acrylic window, as the u channel made it lift off the case, so I had to use 2 strips of tape, instead of one.
And I totally forgot to cut at an angle for the U channel. >.<

Ah, that's what they're called, u channels. But they're basically tubing sliced down one side. :P Yeah, get the corners done and it'd look much better.

Yeah, but then I'd have to take off the acrylic, and the mounting tape I used is ridiculously strong lol. I tried to pry it off, and it just wouldn't move. And I'll eventually get the correct u channel. It's only $4 for 6 ft, which is more than enough.
