Final Fantasy XIII

So I'm so incredibly stoked to be going and picking up FF13 tomorrow. I can't even explain how excited I am. I actually purposely went and bought my new 42" HDTV last weekend for this specific game (the timing of the purchase anyway).

I've been watching all the HD trailers I can find and even though some of the games features are less than what I hoped for, I'm still beyond thrilled to finally have another major installment in the series.

I was thinking about the game, and I've been playing this series of games since I was about 6 years old (i'm 23 now). That is a long, long time to be playing a game. I can't quite explain the feelings this game evokes for me. Just the fact that this game has so many memories associated with it is enough to make me buy it regardless.

Who else is going to be playing, and what are you looking forward to the most?

Personally, I'm really excited to learn the story of this one (I've purposely ignored all the media about this game up until tonights trailer-fest) and just get that feeling of a new FF title.

But yes, it is a very good game. I own it, I just got my second Edilon.

Its a lot better than FF11...Good battle system, as well as leveling system. It makes you actually have some strategic thought during bosses and the graphics are amazing.

i love it its a great action based. the story could be more clearer but i think that is suppose to happen cant wait to see how it ends

yup i am switching paradigm like crazy now... really starting to appreciate the battle system....

currently farming for chips at ch.9 ... good gil consider all my gears are lvl 1 lol

sorry ever since star ocean the second story, im unable to play any RPG that is turn based...which includes all of the final fantasies. i always try them out and stop after like an hour

It is turn based but you do 4-5 hits a turn and you can make your main character stop attacking whenever you feel like it (like if you want to only do 2 attacks). I get where you're coming from but its a improvement then the ones before.
