Ok, so I am going to set up a multi-screen thing and I actually wont be using one its my laptop one and its going to be closed and that's all good I go suggested my DaveTheGreat about something that can join lower my FPS by 5-10 instead of mass things like 30 so if anyone knows what he is talking about and could explain it that would be great also its under thread called " Question 2 " and my second question of the day is I am going to buy windows vista home premium and I was told by a mate that it halves your ram but I was told by another person the newly released one doesn't so I would like your opinions on that please?

Well, I'll start out by suggesting that if you're planning on purchasing an OS right now don't get Vista, get 7. 7 is by far superior to Vista in pretty much every way, and their prices are practically the same.

My specks are Intel Core 2 Duo CPU, 2.53GHz, 3.6GB Ram, NVIDIA Ge Force 9600M GS and I don't think I would be able to run windows 7 so what do you stay that and I don't mind the features of windows vista as long as it doesn't halve the ram any more is that true or false if someone could answer that people.

With those specs, you won't have any problem at all running Win 7

Cool but I am going to wait for some other people to reply I am just not 100% sure and It's not like I don't trust you or anything its just I want multiple opinions.

I'd have to say that Vista is probably one of the worst things MS has ever made :P
So yeh... get the new Win7, it's waaaaaaaaaaaay better and you should run it fine.
To be certain use MS's check http://www.microsoft.com/Windows/windows-7/get/upgrade-advisor.aspx

About "Question 2"
When you have 2 screens you basicly have two options:
1- Run both at the same time
2- Run only one

What Dave said was basicly that if you chose to run both you would need more resources (twice the work) and thus your FPS would decrease alot (30+)
However if you only run one, and this being the external one, they should only go down by around 5~10, because you would be using about the same resources as you are now (1 screen).

You can easily run windows 7 on that.
