G15 v1

What do you guys think about the G15 V1?

it a nice keyboard if you have the coolant system in your comp it tells you the exact temp of the comp etc, plus it gives u a motivational message everyday

I've only had the v2, but from what i hear the v1 is better

I bought the G15 1st gen and the G5 1st gen together several years ago. I've replaced the mouse 3 or 4 times but the keyboard has lasted the entire time. I couldn't imagine replacing it.

V1 is amazing. How they could cut the number of macro keys to a third of the V1s and call it an "upgrade" I don't understand.

The screen is much nicer as well, being able to adjust it and whatnot.

have the v1 and a bunch lilttle applets for it works great and easy to fix too if u take the time to open it ... still trying to take the time to mod the leds on it ... one day ....

I've had my G15 v1 for bout 3 or 4 years now and it still works perfectly. IMHO it is superior to the newer ones as it has more macro keys.

The V2 has the same number of macros, just less keys thus making it smaller. They are sorted into different banks.

The G15 v1 also has three banks (M1,M2,M3) allowing for up to 54 macros per profile instead of the maximum 18 on the v2.

I had a G15 v1 but it died on me after 2 years. While I had it I loved it, but I never came close to using all of the macro keys. I am now using a Logitech Illuminated (3 year warranty) keyboard.

Ive had my G15 for years. The only keyboard I would ever replace it with would be the G19. I generally hate logitech because 99% of their computer periphs are engineered badly and put together even worse. But they really outdid themselves with this keyboard. I highly recommend it.

You wont go wrong with a logitech, they stand by their name.

The reason the G15 lacks so many Macros now is because Logitech has their own Gamepad out. So why have someone buy one toy, when you can have them buy two?

i love my G15 ive only had it for a few months had to beg my wife to let me buy it she doenst understand spending so much money on pc's lol
