Ok earlier I posted about my computer having problems, ie

Hello all you Techs out there simple question. I want to update my ATI 5900 Series Video Card. I found the website got 3 different downloads, ill post the link to better clarify: http://game.amd.com/us-en/drivers_ca...indows-7-64bit

I don't know too much about computers, but when I tried the one download thinking that it might be the driver updater...I caused a blue screen then crash. SO I know that wasnt the right link, lol... Any opinions?
This was my first problem.

I downloaded the first link on advice and experienced a blue screen crash, and the loss of my former drive files and the new files that I was trying to get. This creates a second problem because without the drive files my resolution was unsupported. That creates this new problem, it gets past loading the BIOS but as soon as it gets too loading Windows 7, the screen goes black with a blue box that says: Your Monitor cannot not run this resolution setup 1920-1028@60h (Its not the exact setting). And thats it, wont load windows just says that I need to refresh the resolution.

I really need help, as of now I can't get my computer to run (I'm on my brothers desktop) And I payed loads of money on it. :(

BTW I realize this is the wrong part of the forums, forgive me for my brain fart.

RMA it? i really can't think of anything else to do. Make sure your PSU has enough juice to support that massive card. Speaking of Power Supplies, what power supply do you have?

Id only be able to tell you that if I had the computer running, let me find my paper..had the specs on it. Nope couldnt find it, I was running games on it easily. I only had this problem when I tampered with my monitor resolution after the crash.

Open your case, read the Brand, model number, and maybe even take a few pictures of your power supply. That would help us out a lot.

I found 100-240V-Hz:50/60hz

Does that help?

I don't think your going to see anything with pictures...I can barely see anything past the 2 massive video cards.

WAIT WAIT WAIT!!!!!!!!! are you trying to run 2 5970's in crossfire?! If so, it is almost impossible for people to get them set up correctly.

About the psu, there should be a Big sticker that looks like the thing in the red circle:

Just have a look at the graph on that sticker ad list what it says.

None found... Bought this computer from Alienware, past 3 computers that I bought from this company had 0 problems what so ever. Everything was pre-setup.

I took pictures gotta download them.
