hey guys i know alot of people are wandering this but i cant find this on the internet. i was wandering when steam for mac comes out. some people say april this month. some people it will come at the same time as portal 2. please tell me the dates for steam on mac

Valve will bring its Steam online distribution service and titles from its massive library of hit games to the Mac this April, the company confirmed Monday.

No, it was confirmed on monday which means valve made a promise to release it on monday.

It will be released in April, nobody knows the exact date, but if your following valve time, expect it no later than december next year.

They didn't promise to release on a Monday, they confirmed a Mac version and the announcement was on a Monday. All we know is Valve is shooting for an April release and its pretty early in the month to even say they are going to delay it.

Them saying April confused me, I was thinking this april then realized they didnt say a year.

I imagine any intel based mac with a decent graphics card.

Honestly, even though I don't own a Mac, I think this is pretty cool.

I'm assuming since they said April not any year associated with it that it was this year, also it will most likely only run on the intel line of macs, so basically any macs newer than 2005.
