lol sorry I haven't been to active on the forums lately and i haven't been in game a much as usual either. Been kinda busy as well as I'm addicted o just cause 2 XD

I as iv posted before trying to start a comic but have no photo shop and i was drooling on new egg after looking at the CS5 new features PDF. and now i desperately want it cost: $1800

I'm also trying to get back into paintball but i love customization and I'm also trying to make my own protective gear in a since XD instead of using the face mask with eye lens. I'm going to attempt to use military grade anti fog combat goggles with a military style helmet with camo cover and my face from goggles down wrapped in camo fabric with a normal paintball neck protector under the wrapping and iv already taken a paintball to the face since somehow my crappy mask. cost: around 120-150

Also been working on a game since i was like 16, mostly just concept,s theories, and what items and stuff will be in it. I'm extremely secretive of the material in it since i plan on going into game design and someday wishing to make many years from now when I'm more experienced as well as when i feel technology is strong enough to handle what i have in mind for it. cost: lots

money i actually have: like $30 dollars
 
CS5 Master Collection - $900 if you are a student, Photoshop only, $200 if you are a student.
Already pre-ordered mine....cannot wait!
 
lol i have a job its just worthless and i go to college so that cuts into my work time.
Also "free" photoshop is worthless to be because i fully intend to sell alot of my work and its technically traceable so one unsatisfied costumer and i have adobe lawyers knocking on my door and i also can't sell student edition work either legally and apperntally there is something in the file of student edition software that marks it as student as well as it being illegal to sell that's why it is cheaper.

Plus last time i tried to get "free software" i got a workable copy along with some nasty viruses and i don't to risk it on this pc
 
I'm sorry but what's your point? You don't need PS to "start a comic." Most people start at the bottom and work their way up.

I admire your vision, but I have several "great projects" that are also currently going nowhere... that's my problem, not anyone else's. Sleep less, work more. Also I do believe this has nothing to do with TF2.

yeah well I'm weird i get stuck to things i learned. i learned graphic stuff on photo shop >.< plus kinda kill two birds with one stone cus i plan on free lancing locally because good graphics artist are non existent locally as well as my comic thing

i tried gimp and hate the entire way its set up its like "lets model it after photo shop but backwards". i haven't tried paint.net i might try that to get started

and sorry if its not in the right spot but i talk mostly to the tf2 community since its the game i play most and areas i frequent the most s so meh >.< sorry?

well I hear on the new Engineer update you have to collect money for your projects to build sentrys and teleporters, so basically you sell the heavy's bullets, what are they, like $6000 per or something

maybe thats the TF2 relationship he's going for here

or maybe he's very, very lost

or... well you get the idea.

Who said he wasn't? It was my understanding he was doing this stuff in his freetime, not in place of school work, because if he is anything like me, most of the time I will finish all my homework and studying and everything about an hour after getting home :P, and thus have most of the rest of the day to just do whatever.
 
lol well thi semester just cus i kinda too like a year and half off after HS i was rusty so i only have 4 classes and I only have 1 class that challenges me in anyway, my math class is easy, im a history nerd, my English professor thinks everything i write is gold, only hard class i have is psychology

College only gets harder after your first semester. When you start working on your major expect all your classes to be hard.

My advise would be to focus on school now and when you are done get the photoshop thing and what not. Then once you have a job that pays more than flipping burgers or tossing lattes you will have that kind of money to toss around.

You honestly never know what could happen and you might want to have a rainy day fund. For example, I gave blood for a blood drive. I also found out that day that I'm anemic. I got to pay $800 to get more blood at the hospital.

Just my 2 cents.

well my mind works different because things related to my major come easy to me i enjoy doing the work for the class so it doesn't seem hard o me and i learn it more natural because i have a huge interest in it. I have an interest in History so since high school history was always easy to me because i like it and find it interesting. anything related to computers i have never found hard because i love them and learning more about them is something i want to do and kinda of already do in my free time so having someone with far more knowledge than me in it teaching me and having text books with information not easily accessible to me otherwise i find fun in a way. but for instance psychology i only find mildly interesting and this particular class half of it was more biology associated with psychology which i have zero interest in it, point is i struggle in this class more than others because i have little interest in psychology but its required. where as other classes for my major i have interest in, such as art, animation, working with photo shop, Maya, and 3d max studio as well as other programs but these are all things i want to learn more about so chances the work will be fun to me.
