Story: Who died and made you f****** king of the zombies?

Review: The first film from the Wright/Pegg/Frost team, the same team that brought us the brilliant Spaced. The side-splittingly funny spoof of the Zombie genre is actually one of the better Zombie films out there. Our protagonists life is at a standstill, he works in a dead end job, his girlfriend just broke up with him and his roommate is an idiot. Everything changes for him when there is a Zombie outbreak and he takes it upon himself to become the hero of the day. The humor is sharply written and the acting is pretty good too.

I know this is an odd twist, but do Finding Nemo. I know its getting switched from horror/zombies & stuff, but id like to get your pov of it.

Review: A young man inadvertently get involved in a game of death which pits him against 13 other man. The films is well shot in striking black and white imagery. Definitely worth watching.

Really? Can't believe they are remaking the film. It was good and very dramatic film but... Black and white made the film I felt... It gave it that eerie (think that is how it is spelled) feel to it you don't see much in films. I hope they can still keep the feel of the movie with a remake.

Story: A father searches for his son.

Review This isn't one of my favorite Pixar films, I know a lot of people out there like it...but I don't know. The story follows a fish whose son is taken away from him and he goes out on a quest to find him. It's a touching story about perseverance in the face of insurmountable odds. The plot is well told and has that patented Pixar touch of quality. For some reason it didn't hit me as well as the other films by Pixar.

I know...remakes almost always suck. If there is any consolation the film is being written and directed as the same guy who did the original.

Story: The beginning of the American torture porn genre.

Review: This is the only Saw film that I managed to get all the way through...and judging from what I saw in the other films, this one is also the best. The story comes off as a dumbed down version of Se7en, meaning that some psychopath has decided to be judge, jury and executioner for people who have committed mundane sins. Still it is an effect horror movie and an entertaining one at that.

Story: "You will all partake in fresh fruit, brought here by the Blueberry Pirate himself. And I will partake in fresh fruit and sexual intercourse, an act in which we are all a stranger, but which, upon my return, I will describe to you in great detail."

Review: This film would be strange if it were just a space-western, but it's also a musical. The story follows Samuel Curtis, a Han Solo like character, who embarks on an incredibly convoluted journey which will hopefully make him a rich man. It's an odd experimental film that manages to overcomes its shoe string budget and make something wholly original.

Story: The story that made CNN a house hold name.

Review: On the eve of the first Gulf War a group of reporters from CNN in Baghdad fight tooth and nail to stay in Iraq, to secure an interview with Saddam and to cover the war. It's an interesting story, predominantly because it takes place during a time when CNN was just a small name and the uphill battle that takes place for the crew just to do anything. HBO, as usual, did a great job with the film and I recommend it.

...and yeah it's a long list. So far there is 205 films on my Netflix queue.

Story: There is a treasure map written on the back of the declaration of independence. wtf?

Review: A fun Disney action/adventure film in the same vain as Pirates of the Caribbean. The plot follows Benjamin Franklin Gates, played by Cage, who is working with Sean Bean to uncover a massive treasure that was hidden by the American founding fathers. I loved this film, it's an incredibly entertaining romp through American history...which has been painfully stretched to fit the plot of this film. Cage does an alright job in his role and everyone else is pretty good in theirs. If you want a mindlessly entertaining film then this one will do just as good as any other.

Mirror mask was good - has a Jim Henson touch; not quite Labyrinth but still imaginative.
