Temporarily Out of Commission

I suffered a radial fracture of the wrist during my baseball game on Thursday. I just had X-Rays done that revealed the fracture and I am going to the orthopedist on Monday to have a cast put on.

Sadly, I will not be able to game at all for about 2 months. (I can try playing with a left hand only, but I am not sure how well that will work out)

I will hang in Ventrilo when I can. Wish my a speedy recovery! :O

Reminds me of my Broken leg. I got it fractured and twisted while riding my bike when I was in 5th grade. Couldn't go out for sports for at least 1 1/4 months + rehab. Ya it was a short time, my doctor was surprised:O b/c he thought it would take 2 months. Hey I gotta say drink lots of milk dude it really helps the healing process(I hope u ain't lactose intolerant). Well I hope u get better soon. Cya around kk

Toughen Up Princess

Just last weekend i fractured 2 bones in my wrist/forearm while Ice Skating, all the doc gave me was a bandage and said don't use my left arm a lot. I've been gaming fine like this.

Well it sucks that you are out of commission for 2 whole months. Definitely hang out in ventrilo with us. Also, like everyone else said, drink LOTS of milk. i drink it like it's my job and i've never broken a bone (seriously. im 17 and have played baseball and soccer since i was 5. nothing has ever broken).

Just got my cast which should be off in 4 weeks and a splint for another 2 weeks after that. :facewall:
