I understand that KF is not an openly known game, but today i ran into a fellow eGO member, Hotshot, we spent nearly an hour and a half surviving and blowing up mutants.

I would hope that we expand into Killing Floor as our next division

Thank you for taking time to read this post, and i do hope that we do make this game another part of our growing collection of games that eGO dominates on a daily basis

I bought CSS today and then remembered about killing floor. I totally wish I hadn't rushed into the purchase and would have remembered that KF was a way better game :facewall::cursing::chair:

its worth it, ive only been playing it for a few weeks and im addicted to it like TF2

ive heard a bit about it and noticed it when it came out but i didnt see that much ppl getting it on my list so i never rly looked closer on it.
could anyone tell me how it is and what you have to do there? is it like l4d?

Seeing as KF is not a game that involves both sides, I don't see how we could create a division for it. The following is good, but I don't think it's enough to actually have a divison. Sort of like creating a division for Plants vs. Zombies. :P

As iSimon said, make a post in the dropbox and see what leadership has to say about it.

we have a resitince and libertation server and that game will prob be our next division but yea killing floor just may be after a while

I love Killing Floor, Preordered it when it was first realseing, got 90+ Hours in the first week. I think I may have it installed so if you ever want to get a game together, add me on steam, and shoot me a message. (:

We cant assume anything yet. RNL isnt even out of alpha yet!

I love Killing Floor. Favorite zombie FPS so far. Anyone who loves survival, horde-type, enemy wave type games will love KF.

sounds like l4d so far. i always thought about gettting KF but never got it =/ but since there seem to be a few ppl on here i could play with i might get it soon.

its no where near close to L4D, though it did get released at the same time, KF was shadowed by L4D shiney Graphics and plot line, KF in fact has no plot except kill mutants, move on, kill more mutants, move on, Rinse Repeat, Honestly i think its a lot more fun than L4D, its a cheap 20 USD, Downloadable content which is cheaper than most games out as of now, 2 dollars for map packs, skins, weapons, and so on. Tripwire made a god like game in my opinion

Servers for it would be interesting but it's up to 8 people last I checked. Personally I stopped playing after the Demo class, being my favorite is badly balanced.

theres a server Hotshot and i play on thats maxed amount of players is 56 players and the amount of zombies spawned are decided on how many people are in server

Personally I would love to have a KF Division, but it isn't going to happen I don't think. Not enough control, and even the game sounds have some profanity in it.
Also, KF has quite a small fan base when compared to its competition L4D either 1 or 2.

Anyway, if anyone wants to have a gaming "event" or get together for Killing Floor, I'd be happy to come along. Although I am Aussie so the servers might have a fairly high ping for me.

QF out . . . . .

there's a chance that KF could open up a lot of people joining, since most of the people who play it are Clanless and thus give us a bigger and wider range to open up people to the game, making people fans of it and letting people know that eGO opened up to an "unknown" and had an explosion of new clan eGO members and making KF a much much MUCH bigger game

It usually doesn't happen that way.

There has to be a pretty large user base for eGO to invest their time and resources into a certain game. While KF is a lot of fun, it simply lacks the user base that other games such as TF2 or BC2 have. There's also a huge limitation in that there's no way to create a competitive element in the game. It's one sided: 6 people defend against a CPU hoarde. There's no way to deviate from that either. Also, eGO isn't going "sponsor" the game in trying to create a sudden wave of new players. We do not have the manpower nor the resources to kick a game into a higher user base.

It's a seriously fun game, but I doubt eGO is going to create a division for it. It lacks the elements that are necessary to do so.

Though I don't think we should look beyond the possibility of events to increase our own member count, as an above poster said, the majority of players are clanless, and KF players seek teamwork. Killing floor itself promotes teamwork, less the Fleshpound comes thumping on yer skulls.
