Hey guys:)

Tomorrow im going to a computer shop to buy a new motherboard and internet card. But before I'm going to build my pc again with these new components, i wanna be sure everything is compitable with eachother, and if there are things i have to pay extra attention to. Or if you guys have any suggestions, always welcome:)

My PC:

Motherboard(NEW): GA-MA770-UD3

Memory:

Internet card(NEW): WMP600N

Videocard: Sapphire HD 4870 1GB DDR5

PSU: 550Watt

CPU: AMD athlon X2 64 4200+ 2.2 Ghz

I only buy the motherboard and internet card new, i'll buy a new CPU later.

So..... is this a good combination of hardware? I'm also wondering if the memory fits on the motherbord. Becaus the shop were i buy it says on the website: "make sure you take a look at the memory suport list before buying this motherboard, and make sure it fits".

:O Btw, im not that stupid with computers:P I know the motherboard supports DDR2-667 Memory and i know i have DDr2-667 memory. But becaus there is THIS memory support list, I wasnt sure anymore.

Well... nevermind. I just bought the stuff and going to build it. If it doesnt work..... you won't see me online for the next up coming days:)

That doesnt make any sence Bio, updating my bios. My CPU is pretty old so there is a change i had to downgrade it. But non of thim was needed:) Pc runs fine now:)

Thread can be closed.

There wouldn't be any need for a downgrade, as the required F2 supported CPU's are continued on to the current bios.

When I looked over the CPU support list I saw F2 and figured there was an
F1 =P which there isn't. So your correct there wouldn't need to be a bios update.

Yes thats also what the guy in the shop sort of told me. THanks anyway for your reaction:)

it all looks like it should all work but the cpu is kinda underpowered for gameing for amd cpu the lowes i would go is athlon 5500+ x2 or a phenome
